Katie Brown is a licensed professional counselor (LPC #5527) in the state of Colorado and has been practicing counseling for over 19 years. She has a depth of experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families. Katie has experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. Katie has worked with individuals in various cultural settings including Edinburgh, Scotland, Spain, as well as individuals and families with various cultural backgrounds in the greater Denver area and through out the USA. In addition, Katie has enjoyed providing supervision to counselor trainees. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure studies from Old Dominion University, and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Denver Seminary. Katie is EMDR trained, Completed trauma specialist training, and trained from Columbia University's Center for Complicated Grief in Complicated Grief treatment, level II.
