A different kind of healing - deeper, faster, and more lasting.

 Solace Trauma Intensives

In my Solace Trauma Intensives I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a powerful therapy that helps you heal from overwhelming or painful experiences that feel stuck. Instead of just talking about the past, EMDR uses gentle eye movements or tapping to help your brain reprocess those memories and release their emotional charge and distress. Many people find it brings lasting relief from things like anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, and more — often when nothing else has worked.

What Are EMDR Intensives?

EMDR Intensives are a way to experience this work more deeply, without waiting week after week for momentum to build. Instead of a 50-minute session once a week, an intensive gives you a dedicated block of time — anywhere from 2 to 6 hours in one day — so you can fully dive in and stay with the healing process without interruption. Think of it like this : Instead of taking the scenic route with lots of stops, an EMDR intensive lets you take the express train. The destination is the same, but you get there faster, with more time and focus to arrive and settle.

Why Choose An Intensive?

Intensives aren’t “more intense” emotionally — they’re just more focused. You’ll still move at your pace. You’re always in control. But you get to stay in the healing zone longer, which means you can make deeper progress in less time.

Here are just a few reasons people choose EMDR Intensives:

  • You want relief sooner rather than later

  • You have a specific issue or memory you’re ready to work through

  • You’re tired of going in circles or feeling stuck

  • Your schedule makes weekly therapy hard to commit to

  • You’re preparing for (or recovering from) a life transition

  • You want to get to the root, not just talk about the symptoms

Whether it’s a weekend, a single day, or a multi-day format, EMDR Intensives give you space to go deep and walk away with real movement — not just insight.

What to Expect

Every intensive is personalized, but here’s a general flow:

🌀 Step 1: Intake + Preparation

We’ll meet beforehand to understand what you’re carrying, what you hope to shift, and to build trust and safety before the intensive even begins.

🔁 Step 2: The Intensive

You’ll spend several hours in guided EMDR sessions. These include resourcing (tools to ground and regulate), memory reprocessing, and gentle integration — with breaks as needed.

🌱 Step 3: Follow-Up

After the intensive, we’ll schedule a follow-up session to check in, reflect on your progress, and support any next steps.
